Absolutely everything, the staff were amazing, especially Luke who came with the driver to collect me from the airport. He gave me some top tips as a first timer in Cambodia and was always checking to make sure guests were okay. The rest of the staff were also super helpful and friendly. The check in and check out process was easy and comfortable, tuk tuks are available outside whenever you need them and tours can be arranged at super reasonable rates. There’s only one place for me to stay next time I come to Siem Reap!

We ended up at Udaya after our initial reservation fell through. We made the reservation 7pm and they couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. All of the staff that I worked with were great. Our breakfast each morning was in a beautiful garden area and started each morning with a plate of fruit. All of the food that I had was very good and they helped us with tours around the area and travel to Phnom Penh. The hotel area was beautiful. I would definitely stay there again.

The property was beautiful, the rooms large and lovely, the pool was perfect, the bar/restaurant relaxed - the food for dinner and lunch was incredible. Most importantly for us, the staff could not have helped us more. Our little son got quite sick during our stay with an infection he got before he even arrived, or we even realised. They assisted us by taking us to the hospital, had staff wait there for us and were all beyond helpful and supportive. I honestkly couldn't recommend this property more.

We spent 2 days at The Udaya Residence after spending 8 days doing a Habitat for Humanity Build in the out skirts of Siem Reap. From the moment we arrived to fresh lime and melon water and rice treats to the moment we left with a farewell send off by 4 staff members, our stay here was an absolute delight. We had a 2nd floor room over looking the pool. It was newly built, so the room and bathrooms was super modern and immaculate. I had two massages while there and the staff was professional and proficient. I want to give special praise to Sokman from the restaurant. He was sooooo amazing and friendly to our group. At one point he moved a dining take from the restaurant straight across the length of the pool area to the other end so that we could dine privately on the other end of the pool on the elevated platform. He was so attentive with a touch of comedic effect as well. The location was convenient, a mere 3-5 minute tuk tuk ride into the center of Siem Reap or we could take a leisurely walk. I would revisit in a heart beat! 5 Stars for Udaya!

I had a fantastic two nights here. The staff were extremely helpful and warm. Arranging taxis to airport and a sunrise tour to Siem Reap which was brilliant. The food at the restaurant was also brilliant. With there also being a lovely pool and great sunbeds. Large rooms with huge beds too. Very clean. The staff even made me pots of ginger and honey tea when they heard I had a cough, even bringing it to my door (and it worked). Would highly recommend and me and my girlfriend had a fantastic stay. Unbelievable service.

The service and assistance provided by Sokkol, Pisa and Rien at reception and Sen from the restaurant at breakfast time was outstanding. Hands down the best service you can get from a hotel in Siem Reap. The rooms are great for such an affordable price. You can choose from an a la carte menu for breakfast but also have access to a small but delicious selection of pastries and fruit, while overlooking the pool. This is the only place my family and I will stay because we’re always made to feel so special here. They organise a great Angkor Wat tour too! Thanks guys!

The staff at this place are top notch! They were the most helpful, professional and friendly staff of any hotel we have ever stayed in and are a real credit to the hotel as a whole. We liked everything, the hotel felt luxury the pool and rooms were smart and clean with everything you could need, the staff at the front desk were fab from a lovely check in, to booking us event tickets/ organising tuk tuks- we didn’t have to think about anything, and they seem to do it as they want you to have a good stay and don’t expect anything more from you than your happiness as a customer! Also with there only being 22 rooms it always felt relaxing and boutique and never to busy with other guests- we often had the pool to ourselves! And then there is the food.. I’m sure we could have spent much less money by getting a $2 Tuk tuk into town but the food at the restaurant was so good (particularly the breakfast eggs benidict and Mexican eggs) and the Khmer curry and the fish tacos!! We just couldn’t get enough of it. And again the restaurant staff, led by super friendly waiter and cocktail master Sockman, who always made us feel so special and welcome and he Memorises all of the guests names and loves to have a laugh with them,so you feel like your eating a a friends house! Overall a fantastic experience and I will be recommending this hotel to anyone going to Siem Reap!!

Amazing new place with a great pool, wonderful staff and good food. The staff are friendly and will help you out with whatever it is you need. The restaurant serves good food (hotel prices so a little more expensive than street food) and does a good breakfast as well. It isn’t in the centre but this shouldn’t put you off, it’s a short tuk tuk into town. A number of the best restaurants are also very close by. Alround an excellent stay and will stay here again in the future

Udaya is def the best hotel in Siem Reap! Excellent service and staff, out-standing amenities, great food- you've got everything you need for visiting Angkor. (Our room was even upgraded without extra charge) I would 200% come back to Udaya if I revisit Siem Reap.
